St Michael’s Church
St Michael's Church is the daughter church of the parish, located in Garfield Street where it meets Roundhill Road. You may recognise it from the photo! Built 100 years ago, the church has just taken on a new lease of life, having been completely re-ordered on the inside and re-opened on the Day of Pentecost in May 2007.
Our main act of worship is at 9.00am on Sunday mornings, and there is a Sunday School in the adjacent Scout Hut. There is also a said Eucharist on Thursday mornings at 9.30am. One Sunday in the month the parish's service of meditation and healing, Oremus, takes place at St Michael's.

The layout of St Michael's is both informal and very flexible, and we normally worship in a warm, friendly circle of young and old gathered to praise God. We use a range of music during the service, and often have a fairly relaxed style of preaching.
One of the most remarkable features in our 'new' church building is an amazing crucifix, designed for us by Matthew Twigg, a member of our congregation. It is worth reading about in detail, which you can do here!

Do come and join us, if you would like to be part of a young-at-heart growing community of Christians who are not scared of having fun!
