Our main service is at 10.30am on Sunday mornings. This is a celebration of the Eucharist, which is also known as Holy Communion or the Mass. While there is a formal feel to the service it is our hope that people will find it accessible, relaxed and welcoming.
Our "Sunday Club" meets in the Parish Hall (for children aged 5-11), and the "Lighthouse Corner" at the back of church for younger children.
In this parish we believe that Jesus' gift of his Body and Blood is a gift made for all those who have been baptized, whether or not they are confirmed, and we have many, many children who receive Holy Communion alongside adult worshippers. You are welcome to read our policy about this by clicking here!
Our other services on Sundays consist of the following:
Every Sunday at 7.45am there is a quiet celebration of the Eucharist using the traditional language of the Book of Common Prayer.
Once a month we have a service of Choral Evensong at 6pm, and also, on a different Sunday evening each month, we offer Oremus, which is a service of meditation with prayers for healing.
During the week there are celebrations of the Eucharist as follows:
Wednesday 12.15pm Thursday 9.30am at St Michael's Church Friday 9.15am
Also from Monday to Friday, Morning Prayer is said at 8.30am and Evening Prayer at 5.00pm.
