Parish Boundaries
The parish of Ss Peter & Paul with St Michael’s is bounded by the Rothwell Road as it comes west into town, continuing along Lower Street, Northall Street, round Eskdaill Street and into Montagu Street.
In Montagu Street the boundary turns south down Thorngate Street and Gordon Street to St Mary’s Road, turning north east to the roundabout at the bottom of Windmill Avenue and down to Deeble Road. From there it heads due south along the course of the River Ise. This means that in terms of houses Cheyne Walk and all roads west are in the parish, but St John’s Road and its many small cul-de-sacs are not in the parish.
The southern boundary is the A14.
